Safe-Guard Multi-Species Dewormer 0.5% fenbendazole is a broad-spectrum, pelleted dewormer for use in beef and dairy cattle, equine, swine, growing turkeys, goats, zoo and wildlife animals. It contains 2.27 grams of fenbendazole per pound.

For cattle (beef and dairy), the dewormer is used for the removal and control of lung-worms, barber-pole worms, brown stomach worms, small stomach worms, hookworms, intestinal worms, bankrupt worms, and nodular worms. The feeding directions for a 1,000 lb body weight is 1 lb in a one-day treatment. Re-treatment may be needed after 4-6 weeks. The slaughter withdrawal is 13 days, and there is no milk withdrawal.

For equine, the dewormer is used for the removal and control of large strongyles, small strongyles, pin-worms, and ascarids. The feeding directions for a 1,000 lb body weight is 1 lb in a one-day treatment for strongyles and pin-worms, and 2 lb in a one-day treatment for ascarids. Re-treatment may be needed after 6-8 weeks.

For swine (growing pigs, gilts, pregnant sows, and boars), the dewormer is used for the removal and control of lung-worms, gastrointestinal worms, large roundworms, nodular worms, small stomach worms, whip-worms, and kidney worms. The feeding directions for a 200 lb body weight is 1.92 oz daily for 3 days, and there is no slaughter withdrawal.
