Safe-Guard Multi-Species Dewormer 0.5% fenbendazole is a broad-spectrum, pelleted dewormer suitable for use in beef and dairy cattle, equine, swine, growing turkeys, goats, zoo and wildlife animals. Each pound of the dewormer contains 2.27 grams of fenbendazole.

For cattle (beef and dairy), this dewormer is effective in removing and controlling lung-worms, barber-pole worms, brown stomach worms, small stomach worms, hookworms, intestinal worms, bankrupt worms, and nodular worms. The recommended feeding direction for a 1,000 lb body weight is 1 lb in a one-day treatment. Retreatment may be needed after 4-6 weeks. The slaughter withdrawal period is 13 days, and there is no milk withdrawal.

In equines, this dewormer is effective in removing and controlling large strongyles, small strongyles, pin-worms, and ascarids. The feeding directions for a 1,000 lb body weight are as follows: for strongyles and pin-worms, the dose is 1 lb in a one-day treatment; for ascarids, the dose is 2 lb in a one-day treatment. Re-treatment may be needed after 6-8 weeks.

For swine (growing pigs, gilts, pregnant sows, and boars), this dewormer is effective in removing and controlling lung-worms, gastrointestinal worms, large roundworms, nodular worms, small stomach worms, whip-worms, and kidney worms. The feeding directions for a 200 lb body weight are 1.92 oz daily for 3 days. There is no slaughter withdrawal period.
